CLUB
REPAIR

|
I started doing golf club repair as a hobby because I like
the "attention to detail". I then began making my own clubs. In
2005, I joined
Professional
Clubmaker's Society
.
PCS Mission Statement: “To foster, promote, and elevate the skill of
fitting, building and repairing golf clubs by providing educational,
marketing, and technical support to our members, and to inform and
educate the golfing public of the value of professional golf clubmaking
and club fitting.”
"Class A" Clubmaker
Certification. I passed
the PCS Clubmaker written test (350 questions) with a score of 90%
(80% is required)!

In 2007, I joined the Golf Clubmakers Association. I am an
"Accredited Member" successfully passing a written test!

In addition, I am currently a member of a "private" yahoo group
called SpineTalkers Forum. The Forum description is as follows: Advanced
Custom Golf Club Crafting Discussion Group regarding Spining and other Golf
Club R&D related subjects. By request of a member, I received an
invitation to join by Moderator and friend, Mr. Ed Johnson.
WHAT is SPINING?
There are so many different golf grips on the market
today that I usually do not keep any in stock. However, I have two
companies - Pace Golf www.golfcraft.com
and Pure Grips
www.puregrips.com where I get my shafts and grips,
respectively. I like the
PURE Grips golf grips because of
the technology, consistency, and durability. Excellent in humid and moist
conditions as well! MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!!!
In addition, I order golf shafts and tools from Golf Smith (www.golfsmith.com) &
PACE GOLF. A one day turn-around (24 hours) on any golf club repair
is usually normal, unless it is a special order or special project. (addition shipping / freight charges may apply). FREE
pick up and drop off for Charlotte and
the surrounding areas! Satisfactory Guaranteed!
